RICHARD Greaves’ powerful header was enough for Cinderford to defeat Street.
Early efforts by Street trio James Short, Ed Butcher and Phil Ormarod failed to beat Alex Harris, while Cinderford’s first chance fell to Dan McDonald who forced a top save from Tom Punchard.
Harris then produced two instinctive reaction stops from Ormarod and Adam Chainey to ensure a goalless first half.
The deadlock was finally broken on 63 minutes when Greaves powered in a header from Nick Grime’s cross.
