CARSHALTON Athletic recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season after edging a tight encounter in this mid-table affair.
After the 4-0 demolition of Harlow Town last weekend, the Robins started confidently but found their visitors in no mood to bend easily.
Both sides put attempts off target before Carshalton came close twice around the half-hour mark - Barkley Laurencin palmed a firm Bobby Price shot onto the crossbar.
