BOWERS and Pitsea’s unbeaten start to the league season was ended in emphatic style at the Brentwood Arena. The Blues took the lead in the 22nd minute and it came from the unlikeliest of goalscorers.
Goalkeeper James Pellin found the net to put his side 1-0 up as his huge kick somehow found its way past opposite number Andrew Wilton.
That goal understandably left the home side thrilled and surprised in equal measure, but they weren’t to be done there.
