WINGATE & Finchley put a halt to the rut at Summers Lane after coming back twice to end all-level with Brightlingsea Regent.
With 11 minutes gone, the visitors’ skipper Matt Cripps headed onto the roof of the net.
The away side took a lead seven minutes in. Harvey Hodd curled a stunning free-kick into the net.
