JAMES Kirby bagged a double as Atherton Colleries stretched their unbeaten run to eight games against Chasetown.
The early exchanges of this encounter were certainly attirtional, with both sides cancelling each other out with their defensive approach.
But Kirby was a constant irritant for the hosts and eventually grabbed himself a deserved goal.
He fired his effort across the outstetched hands of Chasetown’s excellent goalkeeper Curtis Pond, whose performance kept the scoreline respectable.
