MALDON and Tiptree showed exactly why they are challenging for the North Division title after a 3-2 comeback victory at Tilbury FC.
The visitors took the lead early on through Jack Cawley, with the defender finishing well to score his sixth of the season.
The home side responded brilliantly, with Lewis Smith converting a penalty before half-time.
And not long after, it was the diminutive George Sykes who broke his personal goal drought to put Tilbury ahead on the day.
