MORPETH Town maintained their ten-point gap at the top of NPL East with a narrow 1-0 win over Stamford AFC at Craik Park.
The Highwaymen had a host of chances but relied on Ben Sayer’s sumptuous 20-yard strike to ensure three crucial points.
