PARADISE: Driver was relaxing on a Cyprus beach when he got the call from Braintree chairman Lee Harding

THIS time last week, football couldn’t have been further from the mind of Glen Driver as he sat back and relaxed on holiday in Cyprus.
But the peace and tranquillity on the Island of Love was soon disrupted when he received a phone call from Braintree Town chairman Lee Harding.
