STRIKER Jack Richards says he “thought he would die” in a Maidstone United shirt – but is now looking forward to starting a new life at Margate.
The 20-year-old has made the move to Hartsdown Park to be reunited with boss Jay Saunders.
“Having been at Maidstone for so long, I could never see myself leaving there,” Richards said.
“I thought I was going die in a Maidstone shirt to be honest! Now this is a perfect opportunity for me to come down and play.”
