WHITTLESEY Athletic have been given a second chance in the United Counties League – three years after pulling out mid-season.
The Feldale Field outfit finished fifth in the Peterborough & District Premier Division last season, but have been allowed to step up again to the UCL Division One because none of the four clubs above them applied for promotion.
The club were formed in 2014 as the result of a merger between Whittlesey United and Coates Athletic.
