BRYAN HUGHES has made big strides in addressing Wrexham’s lack of firepower this summer, but insists the players he has kept are also key.
The Red Dragons boss, who took over in February, has made three new signings since the season’s end as the longestserving National League club push for an EFL return.
Hughes’ latest addition of striker JJ Hooper, 25, from Grimsby this week has excited supporters and raised expectations ahead of the new season.
