MAGICAL for Connah’s Quay. Magical for Welsh football.
Those were the sentiments of proud Nomads boss Andy Morrison after his side overturned a first leg deficit to send Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock crashing out of the UEFA Europa League.
Two late goals in the first leg at Rhyl’s Belle Vue Stadium meant Killie led 2-1 heading into Thursday night’s second leg at Rugby Park with the Scots the overwhelming favourites to progress.
