It’s proof that money comes before ethics

IT was fascinating to read the debate surrounding BetVictor’s sponsorship at Step 3 and 4 levels last week (NLP, July 14).
I enjoyed reading the arguments of both sides and can see both points of view but, on balance, Non-League football didn’t really have a choice in reluctantly opting to embrace the sponsorship deal given the money on the table.
