JAILED ACE SHOWS HIS DARKER SIDE

A TEAM captain who floored an opposing player in a last-minute fracas has been jailed for 13 months.
Witnesses said that AFC Keppel’s Corey Darker, 24, ran 20 yards and knocked Maltby Miners Welfare player Paul Preece to the ground with a single punch in the 89th minute of a Rotherham & District Sunday League game in Maltby on September 10, 2017.
His victim was left with blood gushing from a wound to his head and suffered facial scarring.
Darker was immediately sent off and was subsequently banned for the attack.
