Horror injury ends friendly

BISHOP’S Cleeve’s home midweek friendly against West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division newboys Worcester Raiders was abandoned after visiting defender Logan Stoddart sustained a double fracture of a lower leg.
The Hellenic Premier promotion hopefuls had taken a two-goal lead in Tuesday’s game through goals from Lee Llewelyn and Liam Wright when their former right-back went down in agony after a 50-50 challenge near the halfway line.
