CLUB SHOCK AFTER DEATH AT TRAINING

COMBINED Counties League newboys Westside have been left in shock after a player collapsed and died during a training session.
The player’s name or age have not yet been released by the Wandsworth-based club following the tragedy on Wednesday evening. No official cause of death has been given.
A club statement said: “Westside FC is saddened to announce that one of our players collapsed and died at training.
“Despite efforts by those there and the paramedics, sadly he could not be revived. Our condolences go to his family and friends.”
