LUKE WILLIAMS made his long-awaited return from injury and helped Hartlepool United to an impressive victory over Sheffield United U23s.
The midfield ace came off the bench to wrap up a 4-2 victory and drew a line under his 12-month injury nightmare with knee problems. Pools, coming into their penultimate pre-season match following back-to-back defeats, found themselves two ahead by half-time.
