GLOUCESTER City came from behind to secure a valuable point at home to Altrincham, thanks to a fine strike from Joe Hanks.
It was the midfielder who had the first opportunity of the match, driving a free-kick at visiting goalkeeper Steven Drench.
But the Robins opened the scoring with defender James Jones finding the net from close-range with just 11 minutes on the clock.
Gloucester tried to get back into the contest and missed a gilt-edged chance through Joe Parker, who got his connection all wrong when in good position.
