NEWMAN ALREADY A BIG HIT

JAKE Newman scored a debut goal as Kempton Rovers beat Didcot Town.
Didcot took four points off the Walnuts in 2018/19, so Rovers were looking to turn this around in the new campaign. Kempston handed debuts to Gareth Hunt, Robbie Goodman and Newman, all who have returned to the club after stints away, and all made successful returns.
The only goal of the game came early on in the fifth minute. Goodman’s ball over the top of Didcot’s defence found Newman to run through and slot home.
