WARM-UP: England Lionesses trained at Spennymoor Town on Friday

SPENNYMOOR TOWN are to take their place on the big stage – after being selected to host an international game for the first time.
And in a week of firsts for the National League North club, they also opened their doors to the England Lionesses, who visited the Brewery Field on Friday to train ahead of yesterday’s clash with Brazil at the Riverside Stadium.
Spennymoor have been chosen to stage a prestigious England Schoolboys Under 18s game against the Republic of Ireland on April 3.
