ROMOLUWA Akinola’s defl ected drive gave Haringey their fi rst league win since the end of August.
However, visitors Margate were only denied a point by some late,s tout defending and keeping from the North Londoners.
Boro’s Ant McDonald cut an impressive fi gure down the left in the fi rst half and he had the game’s fi rst clear chance, only to be denied by Gate keeper Joseph Tupper when clean through, having sprung the offside trap.
