BRADFORD slipped to a second successive defeat as Southport ran out easy winners.
Volunteers worked all day to ensure the game went ahead, but goals from Ryan Astles, Devarn Green and David Morgan meant all the hard work was for nothing.
Southport took the lead half an hour in as Green took aim following a free-kick, and almost caught out his namesake Joe in the Avenue goal, who tipped it onto the bar.
Centre back Astles lashed the ball home.
Bradford had a chance to level in the second half but Dan Sweeney shot over.
