MARCUS CARVER’S first-half header secured Chorley back-to-back wins for the first time this season against a depleted Torquay United.
Although still bottom of the National League table, they are just three points away from safety.
“We’ve showed how good we can be today”, said Magpies’ boss Jamie Vermiglio.
