CHARITY AIDED IN SHAUN’S MEMORY

THE daughters of a North West Counties League linesman who launched a fundraising appeal for a national football charity after he died from Covid-19 have raised more than six times their target.
Shaun Brady 55, from Hindley, lost a six-week battle against the virus on May 16.
He had also been a referee in the Wigan Amateur League and launched a free-after-school football skills class, raising money for several charities.
