MIXING IT UP: Jade in her South Shields kit

LITTLE Mix singer Jade Thirlwall has promised to ‘raise South Shields’ profile’ now she has become the club’s honorary president.
The 27-year-old was born in the coastal town and has not forgotten her roots, despite becoming an international music star. Thirlwall is also a patron of South Shieldsbased charity Cancer Connections and recently invested in both a bar and a nightclub in the Tyne and Wear town.
