■ TYRELL MITFORD scored one goal and set up another to help Winchester open the league season with victory against a spirited Melksham team.
In the first half, Melksham suffered a major setback when Felipe Barcelos received a straight red card for elbowing an opponent.
Right at the end of the first half, Mitford gave Winchester the lead with a low shot.
Melksham drew level ten minutes into the second half when a free-kick from Ryan Bole was played into the pen alty area and Philip Ormrod got a decisive touch to send the ball home.
