LUKE SUMMERFIELD enjoyed a debut to remember as he helped his new FC Halifax Town side to an impressive opening-day victory over much-fancied Dagenham & Redbridge.
Summerfield, a summer arrival from Wrexham, capped a fine performance with a penalty in first-half injury time, before Jack Earing made the points safe with a fine second midway through the second half.
