GICU Iordache and Emmett Dunn were on target as Chichester prevailed at Herne Bay.
Both away goals came during a dominant opening 20 minutes from City with Iordache firing in a free kick and Dunn heading in from another set-piece.
It took Bay 30 minutes to get into the game and Dean Grant had the hosts’ first chance, but on-rushing keeper Steve Mowthorpe blocked his attempt.
Zak Ansah pulled a goal back just before the break, following a cut back from the byeline from full-back Ryan Cooper.
