LIAM Hardy and Remaye Campbell goals saw Grantham defeat hosts Yaxley.
After an uneventful start, the visitors earned a 17th-minute penalty when Ashley Worsfold was pushed in the box, with Hardy converting from the spot.
After a disjointed first-half performance, Yaxley made a strong start to the second half and should have equalised around the hour mark when a Dan Cotton cross found Liam Hook at the far post.
His first shot was saved by former Doncaster goalkeeper Jan Budtz, while the second hit the side netting.
