PAUL GROVES’ unblemished start continued as leaders Gloucester City stretched their advantage at the top of National League North to seven points, but they were made to work hard for the win by a dogged Leamington outfit who pushed them hard.
A quiet first half in which neither side really grabbed hold of the game was punctuated by the opening goal after 37 minutes.
