BARKING MAD AS DOG ENDS A MATCH

LEICESTER Nirvana could have been forgiven for feeling felt a sense of RUFF justice - after their game yesterday was abandoned due to a dog repeatedly running on the pitch.
Nirvana, playing their first United Counties Premier Division game since October, were leading GNG Oadby Town 2-1 with 12 minutes to play when the referee brought a halt to proceedings after a large Alsatian repeatedly invaded the Freeway Park pitch.
The canine’s owner, understood to be a home supporter, was repeatedly asked to bring his pet under control, but to no avail.
