STOCKTON Town manager Michael Dunwell admits the disappointment of missing out on promotion last season still lingers over the club.
The Anchors looked odds-on to secure promotion into Step 4 after moving 13 points clear with just eight games remaining in the Northern League season.
Dunwell’s men lost just one of their 30 league games but their dreams of claiming a third promotion in five seasons were cruelly snatched away from them by the FA’s decision to null-andvoid the campaign for clubs between Steps 3-7.
