SPA WILL TEST THE WATER…

DROITWICH Spa have launched a bid to raise £100,000 to build a new stadium in their home town and end four years of exile.
Since 2017, the Saltmen have been forced to play their West Midlands (Regional) League Division One home games ten miles away at Stourport Swifts’ Walshes Meadow home.
But Spa have been given the chance to develop their own floodlit stadium next to their old King George V Playing Fields.
A proposed 3G pitch would be for community use and be available for the club’s junior, ladies and veterans teams too.
