THE North Sea mist has set an atmospheric backdrop for many a memorable occasion at Hillheads.
The historic home of Whitley Bay has hosted a whole host of FA Cup shocks, league winning triumphs and, of course, a hattrick of FA Vase wins.
But surely there cannot have been many more unusual fixtures that the one that took place on a chilly Sunday evening eight years ago this week.
