CURZON withstood a late Blyth rally to seal their first league win for two months and two days.
Their 16th-minute opener was a freak, Jamie Cooke’s deflected shot from the edge of the box finding the net via the post and Spartans keeper Alex Mitchell’s back.
The hosts hit the post again four minutes later through Thomas Peers, before Curzon keeper Chris Renshaw denied Dan Maguire.
And Peers provided the low cross for just-introduced sub Alex Curran to tap-in Nash’s second on 32 minutes.
