BAILEY HOBSON once again proved Leamington’s nemesis with his fifth goal in the last four meetings as Alfreton won away for a second time this season.
It was a slow burner that exploded into life in the second half, with both sides losing their captains to red cards. The hosts went ahead on 13 minutes, thanks largely to a mistake from keeper George Willis, who allowed Ben Usher Shipway to dispossess him and slot past a defender on the line to bag his first goal for the club.
