Barnes off to a flier as gaffer

DULWICH Hamlet withstood a strong second-half showing from Hungerford to gain three valuable points in Paul Barnes’ first match as permanent boss.
Although Niko Muir reduced the arrears from a late penalty, first-half goals from Nana Owusu and Danny Mills proved enough to secure victory.
Owusu rattled the bar on ten minutes after good work from Jayden Clarke, but the winger went one better five minutes later when he netted direct from a 20-yard free-kick after Clarke had been scythed down.
