Red-hot Rhead proves the difference as Nash crash

MATT RHEAD’S penalty gave Alfreton Town victory in a hard-fought clash. The first decent chance came just past the 20-minute mark. Former Nash man Connor Teale broke free and fired a low shot that flew inches wide of goal keeper Chris Renshaw’s net.
The home side’s first chance didn’t arrive until the 34th minute when Jimmy Spencer was re- leased by new boy Dylan Boyle, unfortunately for Curzon, goalkeeper George Willis’ foot denied him.
