■ TWO teams at opposite ends of the table met at Oakfield, with Yate coming out as clear winners.
The visitors struck their first blow when a Dylan Lewis free-kick deflected off the wall and into the net.
Aaron Sainsbury produced a series of top saves in the match for Yate, the first stopping a Ralph Graham header on the stroke of half-time when it looked destined to be an equaliser.
A defensive mishap early in the second half led to Yate doubling their lead through Callum Hutton.
