■A RAMPANT Stotfold crushed sloppy Hertford in a game that survived a morning pitch inspection on a freezing cold day.
The Fold came out flying and were two up within six minutes after James Peters and Henry Snee both headed in from corners. The Blues rallied from this dismal start but it got worse 20 minutes later when Lewis Smith converted after Snee had stolen possession and played him in. Connor Vincent then made it four, firing in after another corner Hertford could not deal with.
