ON a bitterly cold afternoon, Ware and Leighton Town served up an entertaining contest with the final score not quite reflecting the visitors’ contribution.
An even first half saw Ware’s opening goal from Jack Dreyer quickly cancelled out by Alfie Powell.
With the wind more in their favour after the break, Ware began to apply themselves to the task of rejuvenating their play-off aspirations and took the lead through Liam Dulson’s well taken penalty.
