■ TWO teams at the wrong end of the table cancelled each other out in an entertaining encounter.
Kidlington were all over the Blues early on, but Dan Purdue kept the scores level.
In the 14th minute, Billy Mardell-Smith silenced the home fans by heading home a Sudayisi Sendege cross. Cheyce Grant led the response, but it was John Dennis, set up by Charlie Bacon, who equalised three minutes later.
Despite countless Kidlington chances, the Hertford goal remained intact for the rest of the first half.
