■HYTHE can count themselves unlucky as they went down at home to Eastbourne Town.
The visitors broke the deadlock when a ball was whipped in across the penalty area to find Marcin Ruda who swept home.
The Cannons were level as Sammi Takaloo broke down the right sending his final effort past Eastbourne keeper Chris Winterton. Despite being down to 10 men the hosts kept press- it ing for an equaliser, but was not to come.
However, the decisive moment came on the hour as a challenge from Lex Allan was adjudged to be on the last man and the Hythe captain...
