■REDBRIDGE overcame newly-promoted Sporting Bengal United in what was their first match since the departure of managers George Christou and Jack Toghli.
With the familiar faces of Ricky Eaton and Joey May in the dugout, the home side went 2-0 up through new signing Malachi Napa and Rodney Botuli.
That visitors responded early in the second half through Damilola Olusesi, but the Motormen stretched their lead when Joe Elliott fired home a penalty.
