SPENNYMOOR TOWN produced a superb performance to beat Farsley Celtic on Friday night, the match played at Celtic’s temporary Horsfall Stadium home.
Glen Taylor opened the scoring after seven minutes, smashing a left-foot volley from Reece Staunton’s pinpoint cross.
Corey McKeown went close before Taylor spotted Tony Wooster out of position, but his audacious lob dropped just wide.
Manasse Mampala fired Farsley’s first real chance over.
