WALTHAM Abbey took another win to go ten games unbeaten thanks to substitute Thomas Avgoustidis’ double as they strengthened their position in the playoff places.
An open and even first half saw both sides create chances in front of goal.
Waltham went close when Prince Domafriyie put his dipping effort from distance just over the bar.
Bury Town broke the deadlock just before half-time when a Max Maughn shot from inside the box was deflected past Bradley Robinson in goal.
