■ HANWORTH Villa were handed a slice of luck as two Rayners Lane efforts struck the crossbar before they capitalised late on to secure a themselves a win.
Three minutes before halftime, Lane were reduced to ten men, Josh Green seeing a straight red card for a bad foul on Louis Collins.
A third attempt hit the crossbar in the 63rd minute, this time Villa’s Sam Merson seeing his effort clang away before his match-winning effort, a 30th birthday present in the form of an 86th-minute penalty kick, was converted with supreme confidence.
