FARNHAM Town tightened their grip on the title race with a hard-fought victory over one of their closest challengers, Uxbridge, who now find themselves lagging 15 points behind.
The hosts started confidently with Great Evans setting up Sam De St Croix in the eighth minute, his shot blocked by a defender.
In the 22nd minute, a Farnham free-kick picked out Jack Dean who was able to beat George Legg to open the scoring.
