DOMINIC McHale netted a second-half winner as Hednesford narrowly beat Hebburn.
The Hornets took control of the game early on, which saw attacker Jack Foalle winning a free-kick in the 12th minute.
Liam Noble’s cross was cleared by Ollie Harrison, and Wood’s shot went wide.
In the 15th minute, Hednesford’s corner saw Ryan Wynter’s cross claimed by goalkeeper Bond.
Dan Turner nearly scored for Hebburn in the 19th minute, heading Noble’s corner just wide.
