AFC Portchester had to dig deep to earn themselves a well-deserved replay thanks to Marley Ridge’s late equaliser, cancelling out a wonderful Harry Pinchard goal.
The Royals gave a good account of themselves in a game which they knew they would have to be patient and work hard for their chances.
The first half played out as most would have expected, with Gloucester City dominating the possession while Portchester sat deep and soaked up the pressure.
